RASAN TEXTILE LIMITED ("Rasan Textile", "we", "us", "our") is a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Company No. 81240718), with its registered office at Unit 903, 9/F, Cameron Commercial Centre, 458-468 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. We operate the website rasantextile.com (the "Website").
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and other data protection laws that apply to us.
By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number
- Collection details: the name and contact details of your nominated courier or forwarder, and your destination country
- Order details: products purchased, order history, messages and special requests
- Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages, return requests and feedback you send us
Payment information
All card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Airwallex. We do not see or store your full card number, expiry date or CVV. We receive only limited information from Airwallex, such as the payment status, the card type and the last four digits of the card, to confirm your payment and handle refunds.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information recorded by our hosting provider when you visit the Website, such as IP address, browser and device type, and the date and time of your visit. This is used only to run and secure the Website.
- Essential cookies needed for the cart and checkout (see Section 7)
2. How we use your personal data
We use your personal data to:
- Process your orders, including confirming payment, preparing your goods, coordinating collection with your carrier, and sending order updates
- Provide customer service, including answering questions and handling returns, refunds and complaints
- Prevent fraud and protect the security of our Website, our customers and our business
- Improve our products and service, based on customer questions and feedback
- Meet our legal obligations, including accounting, tax and regulatory requirements
We do not send marketing emails or newsletters. We will not use your personal data for marketing, or for any purpose not listed above, without first asking for your consent.

Rasan Textile is based in Hong Kong, and our customers and service providers may be located in other countries, including Iraq and countries where our technology and payment providers operate. Your personal data may therefore be transferred to and processed outside the country where you live. We take reasonable steps to make sure your data remains protected wherever it is processed.
5. How long we keep your data
- Order and transaction records are kept for at least 7 years, as required under Hong Kong accounting and tax rules.
- Messages and enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted within 2 years.
6. How we protect your data
- The Website uses HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption) for all pages
- Card payments are handled by Airwallex, a PCI DSS–compliant payment provider, and card details never pass through our servers
- Access to customer data is limited to authorised persons who need it for their work
- We use secure, reputable service providers for hosting and email
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your personal data.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies and browser storage that the Website needs to work, such as keeping the items in your cart and completing checkout. Our payment provider, Airwallex, may also set cookies on its secure payment page for security and fraud prevention.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working properly.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:

- Correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your personal data, where we are not legally required to keep it
To make a request, email info@rasantextile.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within 40 days, in line with Hong Kong law. We may charge a reasonable fee for data access requests where the law allows.
9. Children
The Website is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Website may contain links to other websites, such as social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing your information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Where changes are significant, we will notify you by email or a notice on the Website.
